These incredibly intricate silk base scarves have been embroidered by hand by women in West Bengal, India. The kantha embroidery features animals, birds and scenes from village life. Some of these scarves have been embroidered by a women's self-help organisation based in Calcutta, and others by women in rural villages. The scarves measure approximately 50cm x 200cm. Handwash in luke warm water or dry clean.
